The vast estate is located in the small community of Eberstedt, close to the health resort Bad Sulza and the popular Saale-Unstrut wine-growing region. The scenic Ilmtal cycling track runs directly along the historic country hotel.
The scenically located Historische Mühle offers its guests a lovely retreat in historical premises. The delightfully appointed rooms with view of the Ilm valley are equipped to modern standards and partly feature a balcony. The estate boasts numerous surprises, including the lovely swimming cottages, an animal farm, a historic oil mill and an exciting playground with water games.
Our rustic restaurant Mühlenschänke is looking forward to serving you the typical Thuringian specialties using many regional and homemade products such as fresh and home-smoked fish from our own waters.
Many cute animals, e.g. ponies, goats, ducks, rabbits have found a home on our island - an attraction especially appreciated by our small visitors. Playgrounds, beer-garden, fishing-ponds.
